I came up with the idea of this song when Wal-Mart & Target (of course, there's others) decided to say "Season's Greetings" & "Happy Holidays". People also use Merry X Mas (although there's different opinions about the "X") in place of having to say or write "Merry Christmas". Also I brought in the typical holiday scenarios that come up which distracts us from the true meaning of "Christmas". This song was picked as the #1 Christmas Song of 2007 on 88.1 FM in the midwest (Kansas) and was played on several radio stations across the country last December. Also, C2CMinistries.org has adopted "Keep Christ In Christmas" for their theme for Christmas 2008. Look out for this one. I believe God's going to be opening more doors for this song next December.
